Inbox

The Inbox has two features - a public and a private email box.

The Inbox has two features - a public and a private email box.

The public email box is associated with the disposable email entered by you on the landing page section, which allows you to view the emails received in the public email box. The application stores email for 24 hours and then auto-delete them.

The Private Email feature of Mail7 is a password-protected email box associated with your private email(s). For more details on the Private Email feature, please refer to this document.

  3. Unread: Clicking the read icon will mark the selected email(s) as read.
  4. Delete: Clicking the delete icon will delete the selected email(s).
  5. Open: Clicking/tapping the email from the list will open the email content as following: enter image description here

You can navigate back to the email listing by clicking the Back to Inbox link in the above screen.

The following explains the additional generic options available on the screen and their usage: enter image description here

@mail7.io is the default domain for public emails. If you have a private email/domain set up (and you are logged in), you can view the respective list by clicking the down arrow icon and then select the one from the list. The application will display the respective emails in the inbox.

Inbox button allows you to view the email for the entered email prefix. For example, to view the emails for the [email protected], you will need to enter test2 in place of test and then click the Inbox button. The application will display the respective email(s) if any.

Private Inbox

Clicking the private inbox option from the left navigation panel displays the login screen (if not already logged in).

If you don’t have an account, please request access by filling out the form at this link. For more details on account login and access request, please refer to this document.

Once logged in, you will get the inbox similar to the public email box. Since your private inbox can have multiple email ids configured, you can choose the email id from the top of the screen and the application will display the email received for the email id.

Note: You will be able to view emails of one private email id at once. To view the emails received on another private email id, you will have to select the same from the drop-down list given at the top of the screen: enter image description here

The rest of the private email box options (select, read/unread, open and delete) are the same as explained for the pubic email box.
